Father's Reflection 9.29.24

Traditionally, the feast of the Archangels is celebrated on September 29, which falls on this Sunday, and the feast of the guardian angels is October 2.

I don’t think we give enough attention to these spiritual beings that God has given to help guide and protect us, so let’s capitalize on the next few days to learn more about the angels and renew our prayers to them!

Now is a great time to renew our devotion and prayers to the angels, particularly the angel that has been assigned to each of us. It may have been many years since you have heard it, but try incorporating the “Angel of God, my guardian dear” prayer into your routine, perhaps as you start/end the day or begin to drive in the car.

All angels of God, pray for us!
