Where are we going?
Tradition tells the stroy of Peter walking along a road outside
of Rome, fleeing arrest & certain death, when he comes to a crossroads. There he meets our risen Lord.
“Quo Vadis?” (Where are you going?) Peter asks, to which Jesus replies: “I am going to Rome to be crucified again.”
The end of the story, of course, is the martyrdom of Peter. He turns around & journeys back toward what is now Vatican Hill. This is the last time he would need to be redirected by Jesus.

Why Quo Vadis?
Jesus asks us this same thing, where are we going? This event, at it’s core, was created to muster investment into where we are going. Our family of parishes is ready to accept the gifts of time, talent & treasure to continue to go deeper in our relationship with God, love for each other & the building of the Universal Church.
