Father's Reflection 9.8.24

As a priest, I know I need renewal and further inspiration in order to live my vocation well. In fact, I always look forward to my yearly 5 day silent retreat, our annual 3-day archdiocesan retreat and convocation, my monthly small group meeting and regular phone calls with my priest friends for that reason. 

Having a thriving marriage is no different: it requires intentional effort and investment. 

As a parish, we are trying to provide as many opportunities as possible for you to do this, but saying “yes” to these opportunities will always require sacrifice. 

Whether you have been married for 1 month or 65 years, please consider these two marriage investment opportunities:

Marriage Encounter Weekend, November 15-15, Savior Pastoral Center, Kansas City, KS

**I am making a priority of this weekend personally, and I will be finding a priest to cover my Masses here at the parishes so that I can experience the weekend for my first time and participate with as many couples from our parishes as possible. Please join me!**
