Rod Winkler

My wife Sharon and I grew up in Nemaha County as members of St. Bede’s and St. Peter and Paul Catholic Churches. We joined St. Augustine parish in summer of 1987 upon moving to a farm south of the Fidelity community. God has blessed us with four daughters – Danielle, Cassidy, Emily and Jena – all baptized, confirmed and married at St. Augustine’s parish. (And now, the gifts keep coming – four grandchildren). I serve on St. Augustine parish council and cemetery board in addition to the PLT. We enjoy spending time with our children/grandchildren, raising our own food, working with livestock, travel, reading and taking long walks.
